Nigeria’s education system is collapsing — academically, morally, intellectually, and structurally. We cannot continue with a curriculum that westernizes, polarizes, and destabilizes the minds of our youth. We need a reconstructed African Education model built on:
- moral consciousness
- character formation
- cooperative human relations
- African philosophy of life
- truth and social responsibility
…is the ONLY sustainable foundation for national transformation.
This petition calls on the Federal Ministry of Education, UBEC, NUC, and the Office of the Presidency to adopt a new African-based approach through:
- Reconstruction of basic & secondary education
- Adoption of African philosophy in the curriculum
- Establishment of the National University
- Teacher retraining & moral capacity development
- Removal of harmful, colonial, counterproductive content
- Nation-building education for unity and stability

We, the citizens of Nigeria, call for the creation of a National University — a new apex institution that sets the highest standards for education and restores national excellence.
Nigeria’s current education system suffers from:
- disunity
- poor standards
- low global credibility
- unemployable graduates
- outdated curriculum
- lack of national direction
The National University will:
- unify all university standards
- undertake Standards, Examinations, and Degree awards in the country
- serve as the national innovation center
- restore global trust in Nigerian education
- provide research for national planning
- build a patriotic, competent, united youth
We demand urgent legislative and executive action.
