Building a Generation Prepared for Tomorrow
Every generation inherits a society—and leaves one behind.
The question facing Canada today is not simply what kind of economy we want, but what kind of young people we hope will shape our nation’s future.
At YFIBIGO Canada, our vision extends beyond educational achievement or career success. We envision Canadian youth who are mentally resilient, morally grounded, culturally aware, intellectually curious, and committed to building inclusive communities. This vision aligns with our broader organizational commitment to nurturing youth who contribute positively both at home and abroad.
We recognize the tremendous strengths of Canada’s multicultural society. Diversity enriches our communities and provides extraordinary opportunities for learning from one another. Yet diversity alone is not enough. Young people also need shared values that promote respect, cooperation, empathy, responsibility, and service.
Our vision is built upon five interconnected pillars:
Mental Wellness
Young people must learn how to manage stress, overcome anxiety, build resilience, and maintain healthy emotional wellbeing.
Purpose and Identity
Every young person deserves opportunities to discover who they are, appreciate their heritage, and develop confidence in their future.
Leadership Through Service
Leadership begins by serving others. We encourage volunteerism, mentorship, and community engagement as pathways to personal growth.
Cooperative Citizenship
Societies flourish when people work together rather than compete against one another. We promote cooperation, inclusion, and shared responsibility.
Lifelong Learning
Education should prepare individuals not only for employment but also for ethical decision-making, critical thinking, and responsible citizenship.
Through workshops, mentorship programs, youth forums, educational resources, digital learning, and community partnerships, YFIBIGO Canada seeks to translate this vision into practical action.
Our dream is ambitious.
We envision communities where young people are known not for violence but for compassion; not for hopelessness but for purpose; not for isolation but for meaningful relationships.
When young people flourish, families become stronger.
When families become stronger, communities become safer.
When communities become safer, nations prosper. That is the future we are working to build.
